Pucks for Pups Charity Hockey Game

Wags and Walks is proud to team up with Humble Gladiators for a Pucks for Pups charity hockey event. Before the Los Angeles Kings take on the Buffalo Sabres at the Staples Center on March 16th, celebrities and NHL alumni will face off on the ice for a good cause - to support Wags and Walks! All proceeds from the game will benefit our mission to save family-friendly dogs from shelters and place them in loving forever homes.

From 2:45pm to 5:45pm, your favorite celebrities will see if they have what it takes to challenge former NHL pros. Players include David Boreanaz (Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville, Impastor), Jake Picking (Patriots Day), Patrick O’Brien Demsey (Thor, Miracle), Derek Armstrong (retired Los Angeles Kings player), Daryl Evans (retired Los Angeles Kings player), Lorenzo Henrie (Fear the Walking Dead), David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place, How I Met Your Mother), Jay Harrington (Better Off Ted), Ken Baker (E! News, former professional hockey player), and members of the Teen Choice-nominated band R5.

We are SOLD OUT for this event and all of the money raised will go directly to Wags and Walks to help us continue saving as many lives as possible. If you weren't able to attend this event, there are still so many ways you can donate your time or money to help our efforts. Each year, 2 to 3 million dogs are relinquished to animal shelters, and of those millions, 60 percent are needlessly euthanized simply because there are not enough homes. Sadly, most of these dogs are healthy, good-natured and perfectly adoptable. For more information about the event or ways you can help, please email info@wagsandwalks.org.

Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat (username: wagsandwalks). Also, don’t forget to sign up for our e-mail newsletter, and check our website for available dogs. Who doesn’t love cute animal pupdates?

XO,

Team Wags
