Wagging Tail Wednesday: Cash and Bowie

Two of anything is better than one, especially when you’re talking about puppies. Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia, who knows just how amazing it is to add not only one new puppy to your life, but TWO new puppies. She is a girl after our own hearts. We know exactly what it’s like falling in love with two puppies at the same time like she did with Cash and Bowie...we’ve all been there at one time or another. When you know, you know and that is just what happened that fateful day in Encino. Learn more about their journey together below:

Hey there Cash. Looking good!

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your dog (when did you adopt him/her, is this your first dog, etc.).

I adopted Cash & Bowie from a Wags and Walks event in Encino in August. This is my first dog on my own. I live in Malibu with my two pups and they have an amazing life and get to play all day and love the beach and puppy park!

How did you know your dog was “the one”?

When I went to the event that day I was hoping to find a dog I connected with & saw these two puppies and couldn’t take my eyes off of them. I was able to play with them and my boyfriend and I fell in love. They were so sweet and so sweet together, which is why I adopted them together.

Have there been any challenges or setbacks you’ve had to overcome? What was your biggest surprise?

The biggest challenge for me was potty training! It is a huge commitment but we finally have it down! Also remembering that progress doesn’t happen over night.

What is your favorite thing about your dog? Does he/she have any funny quirks?

Cash is obsessed with fetch and his squeaky balls, has a snaggle tooth and an underbite and is a little sassy. Bowie is a little angel who loves to snuggle, sleep & chew on his chew toys. They are both so different, sweet and loving and I can’t imagine my life without them.

What is your favorite thing about being a doggy parent?

Everything. It is so rewarding and the love you receive makes every day better.

How has your dog changed you?

My two pups have made me less stressed out! Their little puppy smiles always brighten my day.
