This Sunday marks Super Bowl LI, which means we have a lot to look forward to – an exciting matchup between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, a halftime performance by Lady Gaga, the most anticipated commercials of the year, and the 13th annual Puppy Bowl (which is our favorite part of the day).
This Super Bowl game is special to us because Tom Brady, The Patriots’ star player and quarterback, adopted a rescue pup from Wags and Walks last year. That’s right – he’s not just talented and handsome – he’s also an animal lover.
The black and white pooch, who Tom and Gisele appropriately named Fluffy, marks the third rescue dog for the couple. Fluffy didn’t waste any time bonding with her new furry siblings - a pit bull mix, Lua, and a beagle, Scooby.
After they took home their newest family member, Gisele shared an adorable picture of Fluffy on Instagram, writing “Thank you @wagsandwalks for all you do and for letting us rescue this little angel. The kids are over the moon with our new family member. Fluffy is pure joy!”
We can say without a doubt that both Fluffy and her pawrents hit the jackpot! Gisele and Tom, along with their three children, are the perfect match for Fluffy, and she’s the perfect addition to their family.
We are beyond thrilled to have found such a wonderful home for one of our pups. We know that Fluffy, Lua and Scooby will be cheering on their dad this Sunday, but regardless of who takes home the Super Bowl ring, Tom gets to go home to Fluffy. In rescue, everybody wins.
