Dog Friendly Eats in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is a city filled with amazing, eclectic restaurants and foodies galore! For those foodies who have furry friends, it can sometimes be difficult to venture out to a restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Today, we’re sharing some our favorite dog-friendly eats around LA for you to enjoy with the best company - your pup!

M Street Kitchen

This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food is fresh and delicious. It  is located on Main Street in Santa Monica, a lively street where you can window shop and take in the ocean breeze. M Street Kitchen has a wonderful brunch menu, happy hour, and a wide assortment of wine and beer if you just want to head over for a drink or two. They have a dog-friendly patio where you’ll be sure to see lots of other canine friends, and you can even ask your waiter for dog treats so your pal doesn’t feel left out! A plus is that the Santa Monica dog park is only a block away, so you can let your dog burn off those calories after your meal.

Flores and Sons

This hidden gem is located on Sawtelle Blvd in the “Little Osaka” neighborhood of West Los Angeles. While this street is mainly known for it’s Asian cuisine restaurants, Flores and Sons is one of the few restaurants that offers something a little different - American Comfort food with a twist. As soon as you reach the restaurant, you’ll see that there are two outdoor patios and they even have a doggy door entrance that you can’t miss. They kindly provide water bowls and have special leash hooks so you can enjoy your meal without having to worry about holding on to your dog's leash.

Panini Kabob Grill

The Panini Kabob Grill is a  great spot to enjoy deliciously healthy Meditteranean food. With over 10 locations, this spot is sure to fulfill your  cravings for a Mediterranean meal with your furry friend. If you’re in the mood for breakfast, they also serve a full breakfast menu until 11 AM on weekdays and until 3 PM on weekends.

Spitfire Grill

This laid back eatery in the West LA/Santa Monica area serves breakfast every day until 3pm and has a large menu selection. You can’t beat the location - just across the street from Spitfire is the Airport Dog Park! However, keep in mind you do need a permit for this dog park, which is $20 per year and you can obtain one from the Santa Monica Dog Shelter. If you live in Santa Monica, there is no need for a  permit since your SM dog license gives you free access. If you and your pup aren’t  too fond of dog parks, the general open park area gives you a nice option to take your dog on a stroll around the park and soccer field.

Kreation is known for their amazing fresh organic juices, but they also have a fresh and delicious food menu at their select “Kafe’s.” These kafe’s are dog friendly and there are two great locations in Santa Monica and Venice. You can a grab a salad, wrap, acai bowl, and tons of other organic and fresh food options. Pair your meal with one of their infamous juices and you’ll leave feeling energized and ready to run with your pup!

Gracias Madre

Located in a trendy area of West Hollywood on Melrose Ave, Gracias Madre offers a complete vegan Mexican menu. The space is very hip and chic, and the food is superb - offering organic and fresh ingredients. This popular vegan restaurant is different from the usuals because they stick to one cuisine. They have a dog-friendly patio where you can enjoy your meal, and a drink or two, with the company of your best pal.

Sage Vegan Bistro

This restaurant is dog friendly and, of course, vegan friendly (hence the name). They have an outdoor patio that is spacious for you and your pet, and their large menu offers fresh ingredients and an array of options.  There are two locations - one in Echo Park and one in Culver City - and the larger Culver City location offers a more spacious patio to accommodate even more furry friends.  Some must try menu items include their vegan pizza, butternut squash ravioli, raw and baked desserts, and their cocktails which are made from fresh pressed juices.

Real Food Daily

This spot has two dog-friendly locations, Weho and Pasadena, which both serve fresh, organic, plant-based food options. They even offer dog treats for your pup to enjoy that are baked fresh in-house. Make sure to check out their happy hour and taco tuesday specials - and bring your pup along for the fun!

These are just some of our favorite dog-friendly restaurants in Los Angeles that we hope will inspire you to bring your pup next time you dine out in LA.  Amazing restaurants like these make us so happy and we can’t wait to discover more Los Angeles restaurants that will accommodate our treasured friends!
