LA Adoption Application

Things To Note:

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age to adopt.

  • ADOPTION FEES:

    • ADULT (7 months - 8 years): $500

    • SENIOR (over 8 years): $450

    • PUPPY (6 months and under): $650 ($600 + $50 refundable training deposit.)

    • Note: We require a $50 refundable training deposit for puppies six months and under. When proof is provided, showing that puppy attended at least one training session/class by 6 months old (or within 1 month after adoption) the deposit can be refunded to adopter.

  • All current dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered.

  • If applicant is a renter, they must provide proof that dogs are allowed at their place of residence, and if there are any breed or size restrictions.

  • A submitted application does not grant access to a meet and greet; application approval is subject to our adoption counselors’ discretion.
