Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Meet Scallop!
Breed: Terrier Mix
Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 13 lbs
This 2-year-old, 13-lb pup is a gentle sweetheart. When we rescued Scallop from a local shelter, where she had come in with several other dogs from a possible hoarding situation. When she came into our care, we realized that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, her babies did not make it. Scallop has been through so much, and she just needs a loving home where she can feel safe. She is a sweet, gentle girl with her trusted people and is blossoming as she gets more comfortable. Scallop can be hesitant in new environments, but warms up with time and encouragement. She is an affectionate pup who wants love from her people and will sit by your side for gentle pets. This smart girl is fully potty-trained, does well in her crate, and walks well on a leash. She has done well coexisting with another laid-back dog in her foster home. She would love adopters who understand that healing takes time and will allow her to open up at her own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, soulful pup, Scallop could be your girl!
Meet Frida!
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 21 lbs
This 2-year-old, 21-lb French Bulldog is sweet, playful, and full of love. This cuddly Frenchie was surrendered to us by her previous family of five months after being adopted from a shelter, where she had already experienced abandonment once before. Now safe in our care, Frida is finally getting the kindness and consistency she deserves. In our care, it became clear that Frida is incontinent. Every dog has their quirks that require special accommodations. For Frida, she will need a forever family that is excited to help her thrive by providing diaper changes when she is indoors. Despite everything she’s been through, Frida is incredibly loving and affectionate. Frida loves playing with other dogs and truly enjoys the companionship of all kinds. Whether it’s playtime or snuggling up after a fun day, she’s happiest when she’s surrounded by love. Frida’s incontinence will require an understanding adopter who can provide appropriate management and routine, but it doesn’t slow her down or take away from the joy she brings. She’s playful, engaged, and eager to be part of a family. She will thrive in a compassionate home that can offer patience, structure, and lots of affection. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient little companion with a huge heart, Frida might be your girl!
Meet Midge!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 8 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 30 lbs
This 8-year-old, 30-lb mixed breed gal was found collapsed in the street, so emaciated she couldn’t even stand. It appeared she had been bred multiple times in her life, and once her body could give no more, she was abandoned. An animal control officer found her and cared for her, helping her begin her recovery before she eventually made her way to us. Despite everything she’s been through, Midge is an incredibly loving social butterfly who simply wants to be close to her people. She loves everyone she meets and does especially well meeting kids. She has the softest, most soulful eyes and a way of looking at you that feels like pure love. She enjoys leisurely walks where she can take in the world around her and is great on leash. Midge is working on her household basics and loves sleeping on her princess bed in her crate. She has a medium energy level with occasional bursts of playfulness and does well with other dogs. She will thrive in a safe home that can continue supporting her as she grows stronger and enjoys the life she’s always deserved. If you're looking for a gentle, devoted companion with so much affection to give, Midge might be your perfect match.
Meet Jada!
Breed: Shepherd/Husky Mix
Age: 6 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 50 lbs
This 6-year-old, 50-lb Shepherd/Husky mix is a sweet, playful, and affectionate girl who loves people and other dogs. Jada was rescued from an overcrowded shelter nearly 2 years ago. She enjoys cuddle time with her humans, going for walks, and socializing with other dogs. She has done well in playgroup at our center, showing herself to be a gentle and dainty playmate—even with the smallest pups. She is an extremely smart gal and is always up for a hike or other enrichment activity. After attending a training program with LAK9s, her trainer fell in love with her, and she has been her foster since then. We believe Jada will mean the world to her future adopter, and she can’t wait to find her forever person! Jada would be happy to have a well-matched canine companion in her forever home. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and loyal pup to join your family, Jada is ready to steal your heart!
Meet Luke, from the Star Wars Litter!
Breed: Shepherd Mix
Age: 4 months old
Gender: Male
Weight: 11 lbs
This 4-month-old, 11-lb puppy can't wait to snuggle up and get cozy with her forever people. Luke and his siblings were born on May the 4th, so we felt it fitting to name them after Star Wars characters. These puppies have particularly lovely temperaments, and like all puppies, they are playful and affectionate. Their fosters describe them as incredibly easy, well-behaved, and mellow, especially for puppies their age. They have so much love to give, and any one of them would be a great fit for a first-time dog owner. Luke has been surrounded by love since the day he was born and is now ready to find his forever family! No, it’s not a Jedi mind trick; these ARE the puppies you’ve been looking for.
Hello! My name is Moona. I was recently rescued, so the people at Wags are still getting to know me, but here are the basics:
Breed: Husky Mix
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 61 lbs
Meet Kobe!
Breed: Maltipoo
Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Weight: 23 lbs
This 1-year-old, 23-lb Maltipoo is a sweet, friendly boy. Kobe came to us through one of our fosters who learned that his former owner was struggling and no longer in a position to care for him. Now safely in our care, he is ready for a second chance at forever. This loving boy wants to be wherever you are and always greets new friends with a wagging tail. He has done well with crate and potty training and is living nicely with other dogs in his foster home. We are still getting to know Kobe, but we suspect he will thrive in a variety of homes. If you’re looking for an affectionate, energetic pup to be your best friend, Kobe could be your guy!
Meet Camper!
Breed: Saint Bernard
Age: 2 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 121 lbs
This 2-year-old, 121-lb Saint Bernard is a lovable snuggle bug. Camper was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and is now ready to find his forever home. This big boy is a total sweetheart who absolutely adores people. On walks, Camper is often more interested in stopping for head scratches than getting his steps in. If you give him attention, don’t be surprised if he leans right into you or even flops over for belly rubs mid-sidewalk. He is a silly, playful young guy who will happily romp around to get his wiggles out, but at heart, he’s a mushy boy who just wants snuggles and connection. He loves other dogs and is a wonderful playmate. Camper completed a training program at Whittier Dog Club, where he worked on building his training foundation. He is still young and learning the ropes of his household basics and leash manners. Because of his size and playful puppy energy, he will benefit from a child-free home with a yard and adopters who are experienced with large breeds and excited to continue his training. He will do best with a strong handler, as he is already a very big boy! If you're looking for a handsome guy with a whole lot of love to give, Camper might be the perfect match for you!
Meet Tartine!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 5 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 40 lbs
This 5-year-old, 40-lb gal is a social butterfly with lots of love to give. She was a staff favorite at the shelter and absolutely adores people. Now safely in our care, she is thriving in her foster home. This sweet girl is eager to please and loves to make her people happy. She is a perfect couch potato who is happiest when she’s lounging beside her humans, especially if belly rubs are involved. Overall, she is a mellow, laid-back girl who enjoys taking it easy and getting lots of love. Tartine is fully potty-trained, walks well on leash, and loves going for car rides. She will thrive with loving adopters in a forever home where she can enjoy a slow-paced lifestyle. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet best friend, Tartine could be your girl!
Meet Fran! This sweet 4-year-old, 41.5lb mixed-breed girl came to us from a cruelty case and is learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Fran can be timid at first, but once she warms up, she becomes the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug. She wants to be right by her person’s side wherever they go, and if you’re sitting down, she’ll find a way to be touching you! Fran has a medium energy level and is usually calm and relaxed, though she definitely has a playful side! She enjoys playing with her people and loves being outside when things are quiet and peaceful. Because the world can still feel a little overwhelming to Fran, she’d do best in a quiet area where she can feel safe and comfortable. A fenced-in yard would be ideal, giving her a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors without the stress of busy walks. Fran is doing well with potty training and is making progress with her crate, though she currently feels much more comfortable relaxing in a secure room with her bed and blanket. She’s also shown she can enjoy the company of other laidback dogs and is good with kids, cats, and people! This sweet girl has been through so much, and we can't wait to see her find the forever home she deserves.
Meet Priscilla! This 12-year-old, 6lb Yorkie mix is a quirky little lady with a very sweet soul. As a senior girl, Priscilla is looking for a caring, patient home where she can slow down and enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, safety, and love. Priscilla is gentle, mellow, and very low energy. She’s happiest spending most of her day curled up somewhere cozy, catching up on her beauty sleep, and enjoying the simple things in life. She’s been living in a home with other dogs and does well with canine companions, but because of her age and quiet nature, she’d be happiest with laidback dogs who won’t overwhelm her. Priscilla doesn’t mind her crate, though she can get a little confused when she can’t figure out how to get back out. She isn’t fully potty trained and will try to use pee pads, but sometimes has trouble keeping her business on the pad. Her future family should be prepared for some patience and occasional accidents as she settles in. Like many senior dogs, Priscilla has some hearing and vision loss, so she may need a little extra time to adjust to her surroundings. If you’re looking for a tiny pup to share a quiet, cozy life with, Priscilla would love to meet you!

As with any puppy, the Cat Litter will need adopters who are excited to take on all the fun and responsibility of puppyhood. They’ll need guidance as they master their puppy basics! Meet Cat! This 2.5-year-old, 49lb Aussie mix is a sweet, affectionate girl who has spent her time being a wonderful mama, and now she’s ready for a home of her own! Cat is friendly with both people and other dogs and has an easygoing, happy personality. When she first arrived at the center, she had a little extra puppy-like energy, bouncing around her kennel, but she settled down fairly quickly once she got comfortable. She did wonderfully for her bath and then happily rolled around on the turf! Once outside, Cat’s playful side really comes out. She loves romping around the yard and exploring, and one of her favorite activities is running to the top of a little hill before rolling and army-crawling her way back down! She’s clearly a girl who knows how to have fun. Now that her puppies are growing up, Cat is ready to enjoy some adventures of her own. Because of her breed mix, she’ll likely thrive best in a home with a fenced-in yard or direct access to the outdoors where she can safely get exercise and enjoy exploring. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, playful pup who is ready to start her next chapter, Cat would love to meet you!

We cannot thank Wags and Walks enough for bringing Cannoli into our lives. What started as a foster for Lennon from The Beatles litter quickly turned into a foster failure, as we saw how seamlessly Cannoli fit into our family. Wags and Walks made the process easy, which helped confirm that we were making the right decision!

Forever indebted to Wags & Walks for bringing this girl home to us. What started off as a foster, turned into us adopting our fur family member we couldn’t imagine life without. The foster program and adoption program are exceptional and there’s really no other place you need to search. Their work is incredible and inspiring! Could not admire the team behind Wags & Walks more!
