Wags & Walks Hamptons Pup Up
July 8th - August 28th, 2025
Each summer, we transport adoptable rescues to New York to alleviate overcrowding in shelters in the South in support of our Nashville chapter.
Our team visits The Hamptons, connecting with the community through local programming, events, and partnerships, and working to find rescues forever families.
Who We Are
Wags & Walks is a Los Angeles and Nashville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue and dedicated community of dog lovers working to reduce euthanasia in crowded shelters. Since 2011, we have saved and found well-matched homes for more than 16,000 dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. You can help us continue saving and changing lives by supporting our upcoming Hamptons Pup Up initiative!

Fostering is a 100% cost-free, rewarding, and hands-on way to help. As a foster, you’ll provide a safe and loving, temporary home for a pup until they find their forever family. All supplies provided!

Since 1967 Animal Haven has been finding homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the Tri-State area, providing behavior intervention when needed to improve chances of adoption and offering programming to enhance the bond between animals and people.
