Meet Heidi! This 7-year-old, 11lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix is the perfect blend of cuddle buddy and playful sidekick. With her sweet, loving nature and happy-go-lucky outlook, she’s sure to brighten any home. Calm, confident, and cooperative, Heidi is as easygoing as they come. She loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for snuggles, but don’t be fooled, when the zoomies strike or her toys call her name, she transforms into a cheerful little bundle of energy. Heidi is both smart and well-mannered. She’s fully potty trained and already knows several basic commands, including sit, wait, come, touch, and “watch me.” She’s also crate trained and feels right at home relaxing in her crate when she needs some downtime. While she enjoys going for walks and can happily keep pace on a longer stroll, Heidi doesn’t require a lot of exercise to feel content. Though she has been an only dog for several years, Heidi does well when doggy friends visit. If she has a canine sibling, she’ll do best in a home that provides structure, as she can be protective over food. Heidi will also thrive in a home without young children. This cheerful little lady is ready to be your perfect match!
