Meet Howser!
This 2-year-old, 44lb sweetheart is the definition of a lovable Hound-mix who is full of personality, curiosity, and a whole lot of charm. Howser is vocal in his kennel and eager to get outside, and once he’s out, he’s all about exploring with that powerful working nose of his. He loves to bark, sniff, and trot along the fence line, especially if there’s another dog nearby to run with. He recently had a playgroup with Doogie and the two had a blast zooming around and investigating every corner. Between adventures, Howser has a soft, affectionate side. He leans in for pets, enjoys attention, and is quick to connect with his handler. While he can be talkative, especially in response to other dogs, he’s able to disengage with verbal guidance and settle into calmer moments of quiet sniffing. He can be a little hesitant heading back to his kennel, but with some gentle leash pressure he hops right in. With structure, exercise, and a home that appreciates his Hound charm, Howser will thrive. He’s sweet, social, and ready to bring plenty of fun (and a few joyful howls) into his forever family’s life.
