Max
Meet Max, an 8-year-old, 12 lb Chihuahua mix with a big personality, a sassy sparkle, and the sweetest little heart. This happy, confident guy may be small, but he’s full of charm and affection. Max is incredibly loving with his people and thrives on cuddles, closeness, and quality time. Max enjoys being outdoors and isn’t fazed by a little rain. He’s typically lower energy but still has plenty of pep in his step and loves a good stroll or adventure. He’s great in the car, happily gazing out the window; he may bark at first out of excitement, but he quickly settles in for a smooth ride. At home, Max does wonderfully in his crate and is fully potty trained! He does best with dogs his own small size and is wonderful with them, but larger dogs make him nervous and feel threatened. Max can also be anxious around most men and would do best with a patient adopter who can help him continue building confidence with strangers. This affectionate, spunky boy needs a loving home with clear boundaries, because Max definitely thinks he runs the show! With structure, consistency, and lots of love, he’ll be the most loyal little companion you could ask for!
