Adopt Rooty! This adorable, 4-month-old, mixed breed pup has the sweetest demeanor and personality. Although we don't know his doggy DNA we expect he'll grow to be a medium-large adult. Rooty is an extremely affectionate pup who thrives on cuddles and pets. His favorite thing in the world is being close to his people, his foster says he's the best little shadow! Rooty has blossomed around other dogs, and being part of a playful pack has boosted his confidence immensely. He truly thrives when he has canine companions to play and bond with. He'd love a forever home with another confident dog to help show him the ropes!

This sweet pup has done beautifully on the leash, making walks a delight, but his true joy comes from running and playing in the yard. He'd be happiest in a forever home with a yard or with an active adopter who will dedicate time to getting this boy the outside time he loves! His foster has been helping him get a head start on his basics and he's making progress with both crate and potty training. He's working on learning his crate is a safe-space for longer periods of time, but has made a lot of progress. He will thrive with an adopter who is looking forward to the joys and challenges that come with raising a young puppy. Rooty absolutely adores kids and is gentle and playful with them, making him a fantastic family dog.
