Wags & Walks Nashville Responds to Parvo Exposure Following Record Rescue
Wags & Walks Nashville made history earlier this week with its largest-ever single rescue transport—51 dogs from Memphis Animal Services. Shortly after, the organization learned that some puppies housed near the rescued dogs had tested positive for parvo and Giardia, and one puppy died from the virus.
None of the dogs currently in Wags & Walks' care are showing symptoms, but the organization has implemented quarantine protocols, enhanced sanitation measures, and extended medical monitoring as a precaution. Dogs from the rescue are on a 10-14 day hold.
