Rita is a 2-year-old Pittie mix who has been through more than any dog should, and somehow she’s still sweet, goofy, and way too forgiving. She survived a gunshot wound to the head and two months of starvation, and she now has a permanent head tilt and some facial paralysis that are just part of who she is. None of it has slowed her down. She’s amazing with every person she’s met, great with kids, and great with other dogs as long as they’re calm and her size or bigger. She cannot share a home with small dogs or cats. She’s about 45 pounds, spayed, crate trained and house trained. Rita deserves a home where she’ll get all the love, devotion and care she’s owed.
