Meet Azula! This 1-year-old, 38.5lb mixed breed girl is a sweet, goofy pup with so much personality! Azula is deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. In fact, she's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and has already mastered several hand signals! Azula has a great medium energy level and loves a good play session before settling in for cuddles. Her favorite activities include chasing a flirt pole, playing fetch, carrying around sticks, and chewing on toys in the yard. Once she's gotten her zoomies out, she's more than happy to relax by your side for a nap. This friendly girl loves meeting new people, children, and other dogs. She has great house manners, is fully potty trained, and has made incredible progress with crate training. She happily goes into her covered crate on cue, settles quickly, and only lets you know if she needs to go outside. Azula thrives with structure and consistency and has learned cues and hand signals, including "down," "free," and a thumbs-up for "good girl." Because she's still a young dog, Azula is continuing to build confidence with separation anxiety and would do best with adopters committed to maintaining her routine and training. A fenced yard is ideal, giving her plenty of space to run and play before relaxing indoors. She also enjoys having a balanced canine companion to continue building her social skills, though she'd be just as happy soaking up one-on-one attention from her people. Azula's adopter will receive two complimentary training lessons with one of our training partners if they live in the Nashville area to help set her up for success.
