Beluga is sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he's by your side or curled up next to his favorite canine friend! Beluga has a medium energy level and strikes the perfect balance between playful and cuddly. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and gains so much confidence from having a canine companion around. His foster says he adores their resident dog and often chooses to be by his side. Because of this, Beluga would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog who enjoys having a playful little brother around! He'd also thrive as a spoiled solo pup, but we imagine he'd adore having a canine sibling. This sweet boy is also an absolute dream on leash. He walks beautifully, rarely pulls, and stays close to his person, constantly checking in along the way. He's incredibly gentle, eager to please, and responds well to redirection, making him a joy to spend time with both at home and on adventures! Beluga is fully potty trained when kept on a consistent schedule and has done wonderfully with crate training. He happily eats and sleeps in his crate overnight without a peep. While he's still building confidence being crated for longer periods when home alone, he's made great progress, especially when another dog is nearby to keep him company.
