Buster
Meet Buster! This 1-year-old, 82lb mixed breed is a big, lovable goof with an even bigger heart. Buster’s favorite place in the world is right next to his people—preferably as close as physically possible. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is much more motivated by attention and connection than by treats. Buster has a medium energy level and enjoys long walks, plenty of fresh water, and durable toys he can really dig into. He walks wonderfully on leash when there are no other dogs around, staying close, calm, and focused without pulling or reacting to distractions. When he does see other dogs, his excitement to make friends can lead to some pulling, but it comes from a happy, social place. Because Buster doesn’t quite realize how big he is, he can get a little jumpy when excited. He’s already learning to keep all four paws on the floor and is improving quickly with guidance and consistency. Buster is currently working on crate training and is doing well as he learns the routine. He would thrive with patient adopters who are happy to continue building his confidence and skills as he settles into a new home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will adore you endlessly, Buster will make an incredible addition to a loving home!
