Champ

Meet Champ, a 2-year-old, 55lb mixed-breed sweetheart who proves that a missing leg doesn’t slow down his love for life! This brave tripod is full of energy, playfulness, and affection, and he brightens every room he enters. Champ is incredibly social and friendly, thriving with people, other dogs, cats, and even kids: he’s a true all-around companion! Champ loves to play and interact with his doggy friends, showing off his wiggly, playful personality and enjoying squeaky toys. He’s affectionate and loves leaning in for pets and snuggles, soaking up all the attention he can get. Though he’s a little reluctant about crate time, he’ll go in when needed and settles once inside. He can be vocal if crated and alone, especially if he can hear people, but he does wonderfully when crated in the same room as humans or another dog. Champ is reported to be potty trained and is a loving, gentle, and social pup who doesn’t let his tripod status hold him back. Champ is heartworm-positive and is currently undergoing treatment. This treatment is covered by W&W, and Champ is expected to make a full recovery. With his friendly personality and affectionate nature, Champ is looking for adopters who will celebrate his unique charm and give him a forever home full of love!
