Cherry
Meet Cherry! This 3-year-old, 43lb Shepherd mix has had a tough start, but she continues to prove just how resilient, loving, and special she truly is. Found tied to a pole outside our Adoption Center, Cherry began her journey unsure and scared. Today, in her foster home, she’s learning that people are kind, routines are comforting, and life can be joyful. Cherry can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, her personality truly blossoms. She’s affectionate and gentle, loves rubbing up against her people for pets, and her soft tail wags say everything—she just wants to love and be loved. Beneath her sweet nature is a fun, spunky side too! Cherry is playful, smart, a little mischievous in the cutest way, and very food-motivated, which makes training enjoyable and rewarding. She enjoys spending time outside, going for walks, and exploring the world with quiet curiosity. Cherry is potty trained, well-behaved, and doing well with other dogs. She’s also learning that her crate is a safe, cozy space and continues to make great progress. What Cherry needs most is a patient, loving home and a calm environment where she can keep building confidence.
