Meet Cheyanne! This sweet 1-year-old, 24lb Heeler mix is an affectionate little girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what it means to be part of a loving family. Cheyanne came to us from a backyard breeding case, and while she’s still gaining confidence in new situations, she has already shown us what a loving and people-oriented girl she is! Cheyanne is happiest when she’s close to her people. In fact, she’d probably prefer to be as close to you as physically possible! She has happily climbed into laps for cuddles and loves soaking up affection. She can be energetic and may pace a bit when she’s unsure of her surroundings, but she is always eager for some love and attention. Cheyanne is still learning about the world around her, especially when she’s out on leash. Cars passing by can be a little scary for her, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and feel safe as she experiences new things. With time, encouragement, and plenty of love, we know she’ll continue to blossom!
