Meet Clementine! This 2-year-old, 55lb Hound mix is a sweet, affectionate girl who is ready for a chapter that's all about her. After spending time raising her puppies, Clementine is finally getting to enjoy being a dog herself, and she's loving it! Clementine is a really sweet girl who loves attention and happily leans into you when she's being petted. She's also playful, with the typical energy of a young dog, and absolutely loves romping around with her canine friends! She'd likely be happy as either a solo pup soaking up all the attention or with another friendly dog to play with. Clementine is doing wonderfully with her crate and has made it part of her routine. She'll even voluntarily wander into her open crate during the day for a nap and happily heads in every night before bed. She's also doing great with her house manners! After one accident early on, her foster learned that pacing and whining at the door is Clementine's signal that she needs to go outside, and she hasn't had another accident since! Clementine is heartworm-positive and is currently undergoing treatment. This treatment is covered by the 15/10 Foundation, and Clementine is expected to make a full recovery! Whether she's cuddling with her people, playing with another dog, or showing off her Hound instincts while watching deer in the yard, Clementine is a lovable girl with so much personality, and she's so ready for a home of her own!
