Meet Dale! This 6-month-old, 50lb mixed-breed puppy is a big, lovable boy with the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and laid-back snuggles! Dale absolutely loves his dog friends and has formed a special bond with his foster siblings. He loves wrestling, running around, and playing with the bigger dogs in his foster home, and while he can sometimes get a little too enthusiastic with smaller dogs, he listens well when they tell him they need space and quickly backs off. Dale is also wonderful with kids! He loves being around the teenagers in his foster home and soaks up all the attention they give him. Because he’s a big, spunky puppy who is still working on jumping when he gets excited, he may be a better fit for a home with older children who can handle his enthusiasm. Dale is doing wonderfully with his crate training and actually loves having his crate as a place to relax, nap, enjoy a chew, or take a break from all the puppy fun. He sleeps in his crate overnight and settles especially well when he’s near another dog. He even knows “sit,” “place,” “stay,” “crate,” and “shake,” and he’s very motivated by treats! Dale is mostly potty trained and continues to make great progress, though he’s had a couple of accidents when he gets too distracted playing with his canine friends. With his goofy personality, puppy enthusiasm, and huge heart, Dale is ready to be someone’s very best friend!
