Meet Dede! This 1-year-old, 35lb Boxer mix is a sweet, playful girl who is settling beautifully into home life and learning more every day what it means to be part of a family. With her expressive face, adorable happy wiggles, and affectionate personality, Dede is the kind of dog who quickly becomes your little shadow, always wanting to stay close to her people for either playtime or cuddles. Dede has a wonderful medium energy level and enjoys a great balance of activity and relaxation. She loves adventures and recently had a blast hiking trails with her foster, where she was "happy as a clam" soaking up the outdoors. She also absolutely loves other dogs and has done wonderfully with canine companions in foster care. After she's gotten her energy out, Dede is more than happy to settle in for snuggles and downtime. She's made fantastic progress with structure and routine and now sleeps soundly in her crate overnight. Dede is also almost fully potty trained and continues to thrive with consistency and guidance. One area she's still working on is leash manners around other dogs. Dede can become excited when she spots a canine friend on walks, but she's already made significant progress and continues improving with training and practice! At her core, Dede is a loving, playful, affectionate girl with so much personality and joy to bring to a lucky forever family!
