Meet Dorothy! This 5-month-old, 24lb mixed breed puppy is a playful, friendly girl who has been blossoming more every day in foster care. While she may have started off a little skittish and unsure, Dorothy’s confidence has grown tremendously, and she’s quickly turning into a happy, social puppy who loves being part of the fun. Dorothy is wonderful with other dogs and has also been doing great with cats, making her a fantastic fit for a variety of homes. She loves having animal friends around and especially benefits from the comfort and confidence they help provide. She’s playful, affectionate, and always excited to spend time with her people once she feels comfortable. Like any young puppy, Dorothy is still learning the ropes, but she’s making amazing progress. She’s doing incredibly well with potty training and rarely has accidents during the day anymore. She’s also learning her name, coming when called, and has already picked up “sit” like a smart girl. Dorothy is eager to learn and continues growing more confident every day! She may take a little time to settle in her crate at night, but she continues improving with routine and structure!
