Ethel
Meet Ethel! This 5-year-old, 25.5lb mixed breed girl is a gentle, easygoing companion who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what it means to be truly cherished. Ethel came from a severe hoarding situation, but despite everything she's been through, she has remained incredibly sweet, resilient, and trusting. She greets people with a relaxed body, soft demeanor, and quiet confidence that makes it easy to fall in love with her. Ethel enjoys the simple things in life: sniffing around the yard, searching for treats, lounging in the shade, and spending quality time with her people. She has a calm, middle-aged energy and is happiest when she can simply relax and enjoy her surroundings. Ethel does well with other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion, though she'd likely appreciate a fellow dog with a similarly calm and respectful personality rather than an overly rambunctious playmate. Ethel does require lifelong urinary medication, but she's more than ready to begin the next chapter of her life in a loving home. After a rough start, Ethel deserves a family who will show her every day just how special she is.
