Evie
Meet Evie! This 4-year-old, 30.5lb mixed-breed girl is a sweet, energetic pup with a big personality and lots of love to give. Evie is happiest when she’s with her people and loves getting out for walks, playtime, and enrichment. Evie is a very sweet girl who loves attention and has plenty of affection to give! Whether she's trotting along on a walk, sniffing every interesting scent, or happily rolling around in the grass, she's always having fun. She has also gotten along well with dogs in the past, and has previously done well with cats as well! She’s a good girl who will need a family willing to understand her quirks, respect her limitations, and help her continue making progress. Evie has made progress with her crate skills, but she's still working through some separation anxiety. She can become anxious when separated from her person, and she does settle when given time and space, but she’ll need a patient family who is willing to continue working with her and build up her independence gradually. She would do best with someone who is home much of the day and can provide a predictable routine, along with a fenced yard where she can safely burn off some energy. If you’re looking for a loving, active companion and have the time and patience to help Evie feel secure, she may be your girl!
