Meet Freckles! Freckles is a 3.5-year-old, 70lb mixed-breed sweetheart with a big heart, a goofy spirit, and a lot of love to give. This handsome boy still has plenty of puppy energy and enthusiasm, and he’s always excited to learn something new. Freckles truly wants to be a good boy and thrives when he’s given guidance, encouragement, and a chance to make his people proud! He’s already showing how smart he is: Freckles learned “sit” in just three days! While he’s definitely on the higher-energy side and enjoys staying active, he’s also able to settle down and relax after some playtime or a nice walk. Freckles has done great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He’s also very close to being fully potty trained and is continuing to make great progress. He can be a little reluctant to go into the crate at first, but with gentle guidance he’ll head in and usually settles down quickly, often drifting off to sleep after a short moment. With his loving nature, playful personality, and eagerness to learn, Freckles is going to make an incredible companion for a lucky adopter!
