Goober

Meet Goober! This 2-year-old, 53lb mixed-breed boy brings an endless supply of joy, slobber, and goofy smiles wherever he goes. With his playful personality and big heart, Goober is always ready for fun, especially if there’s a toy involved (and sometimes even if it’s not technically a dog toy!). Goober is a higher-energy pup who loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. He gets attached quickly and truly just wants to be by your side, whether that’s following you around the house or rolling over for his favorite thing ever: belly rubs. He’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on connection with his people. He does great with other dogs and would enjoy a playful companion, though he’d also be happy soaking up all the attention as a solo pup. Goober is potty trained and has made great progress with his crate, he eats his meals there, sleeps soundly through the night, and settles well when left home alone. As he’s gotten more comfortable, Goober has shown some playful mouthiness and can get a bit nippy when excited or trying to engage. He’ll benefit from continued training and structure to help guide him toward appropriate play behaviors. With his goofy charm and loving nature, Goober is ready to bring so much joy to his forever home!
