After being found injured on the road by Good Samaritans, Gumbo made his way to Wags, where he’s been winning over staff with his friendly personality and sweet nature. Gumbo is a people-loving guy who happily greets people, welcomes pets, and enjoys getting outside to explore. He’s a big fan of sniffing all the interesting smells around him, so walks are always an exciting adventure! He’s a strong boy who can pull on leash when something catches his attention, but he’s already shown that he can respond well to guidance and settle into a better walking rhythm. Gumbo has also made a great impression with other dogs. He’s done well on group walks with pups of different energy levels, remaining relaxed and friendly even when another dog was barking or trying to play. He seems comfortable sharing space with canine friends and is happy to do his own thing while they get acquainted! Gumbo can be a vocal guy in his kennel, but he's already been settling into his foster home beautifully!
