Meet Hattie! This 1-year-old, 30lb mixed-breed dynamo has a personality that's every bit as fun, spunky, and energetic as she is. If you're looking for an active companion who will keep you smiling, Hattie is your girl! Hattie is a smart, playful gal who loves having a job to do and thrives with structure, routine, and plenty of opportunities to stay busy. Fetch is her absolute favorite activity, and she could happily chase a ball for hours. She also enjoys enrichment activities like snuffle mats, learning new skills, and spending time with her people. Hattie is highly food motivated, takes treats gently, and is continuing to build on commands like "stay" and "leave it." She's potty trained, crate trained, and settles nicely in her crate both overnight and during the day. While she has plenty of energy and enthusiasm, she also enjoys winding down in the evenings and cuddling up on the couch after a day of activity. Like many young dogs, she can get a bit mouthy when excited and will benefit from continued training and guidance as she matures. Hattie has lived with other dogs previously and did well, but she’ll likely thrive best in a home as a solo pup or with clear boundaries and structure in place with other dogs. She does best with thoughtful introductions and will thrive with an experienced dog owner familiar with active or herding-type breeds. At her core, Hattie is an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog with so much potential. This girl is going to make an amazing companion and adventure buddy!
