Meet Henry! This 1-year-old, 74lb Lab mix is a big, happy sweetheart with a tail that never seems to stop wagging! Henry came to Wags as a stray with a severe injury to one of his back legs, and after surgery and recovery, he’s now happily learning to get around as a tripod. But having three legs certainly hasn’t slowed this boy down! Henry absolutely loves his people and is happiest when he’s getting attention, snuggling up, or attempting to be a lap dog despite his size! He also loves being outside and will happily play a game of tug with his favorite toy. He’s potty trained and does good in his crate overnight, sometimes even putting himself to bed when he’s ready to settle down. Henry is very sweet and loves meeting people and getting pets. He absolutely loves other dogs and is eager to play, though he’s still learning how to slow down and ease into play politely. He’ll need canine friends who can tolerate his enthusiastic approach while he continues learning appropriate play manners.
