We first met Gunner at the shelter a couple months ago and instantly had a soft spot for his story. His owner was fighting stage 4 breast cancer in the hospital and with no family to help her, she desperately contacted shelters in the area to keep him safe until she was able to reunite with him again. Unfortunately Gunner's owner passed in the hospital and now he's hoping to find someone to keep on loving him the way he deserves. You can definitely tell Gunner has been a loved dog and he appreciates every pet and bit of affection he receives. He knows sit and paw and will acclimate nicely into a home. This boy has a happy-go-lucky personality, is eager to please, and will make the most loyal companion.
