Because of this strong bond, Jovi would do best in a home where her adopter is around most of the day and can commit to giving her the time, reassurance, and consistency she needs, including daily walks to help her feel fulfilled. Jovi is still working through some separation anxiety and some fear of unfamiliar people, particularly men, and she can be protective of the people she trusts. For this reason, she’ll thrive with an adopter who understands the importance of structure, positive reinforcement, and ongoing training. She is continuing to work on crate training and does best at night or during the day when she can see her person nearby. However, Jovi is potty trained, very food-motivated, and absolutely loves treats, making her eager to learn with the right guidance!
