Meet Kumquat, a 4-year-old, 80lb mixed-breed sweetheart with a gentle soul and an even bigger heart. Despite her size, Kumquat is an incredibly soft, loving girl who truly just wants to be close to her people. She adores attention and has the cutest habit of sitting right in front of you and leaning in for pets, soaking up every scratch and cuddle she can get. Kumquat is social and friendly with everyone she meets and has done wonderfully with other dogs. She happily offers playful bows and enjoys friendly interactions, making her a great candidate for a home with a canine sibling or one where she can make dog friends. Outside, she loves to explore at her own pace, sniffing around the yard and taking in all the new sights and smells. On leash, Kumquat can pull a bit and doesn’t always realize just how strong she is, but with consistent guidance and a little training, she’ll only continue to improve. She settles well in her kennel and shows that she’s capable of relaxing and winding down when it’s time to rest.
