Meet Lana! This 5-year-old, 30lb Basset Hound mix is a goofy, lovable girl with a laid-back personality and so much love to give. Lana is incredibly friendly and has done amazing with everyone she meets: adults, kids, and even new friends out and about. She recently joined her foster on a trip to an outdoor bar and was the star of the show, happily soaking up pets and attention from everyone who stopped by! Lana has a lower energy level and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She’s perfectly content lounging by your side, going for short walks, or just hanging out and taking in the world around her. She does well with other dogs and has a calm, easygoing presence that makes her a great companion. She’s potty trained and does well in her crate, sleeping soundly through the night. When left alone, she may let out a little howl at first (classic Basset!), but settles nicely, especially with a peanut butter Kong to keep her busy. Because of her short legs, stairs can be a bit tricky, so she may do best in a home without multiple flights to navigate. With her sweet nature, goofy charm, and easygoing personality, Lana is ready to be your perfect, low-key best friend!
