Meet Lennie! This 2-year-old, 23lb mixed breed boy is a sweet, easygoing little guy with a gentle heart. If you're looking for a loyal little pup who's happiest curled up beside you after a quiet walk or lazy afternoon, Lennie may be your guy! Lennie has settled beautifully into foster care and continues to come out of his shell every day. His foster describes him as playful, cuddly, gentle, and one of the easiest dogs they've ever fostered. While he enjoys tossing around a toy and has become more curious as his confidence grows, his favorite activity is still curling up beside his favorite people (or even in their laps!) for a cozy nap. Though Lennie can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, he warms up with patience, consistency, and a little time. Once he trusts you, he's incredibly affectionate. Lennie is fully potty trained and has wonderful house manners. He sleeps soundly through the night in his crate and does well overnight, though he'd much rather be out with his family during the day if they're home. He's also fantastic with cats and peacefully coexists alongside them without chasing or bothering them!
