Lennie

Meet Lennie! This 2-year-old, 14lb mixed breed is a fun, playful little guy with a big personality packed into a small body. He loves to run, zoom, and turn everyday moments into a game, and he’s always ready to bring the energy and keep things interesting. Lennie is incredibly affectionate and social, and he enjoys being close to his people! As he’s gotten more comfortable, he’s begun to be more protective of his people around other dogs, so he will need continued structure, guidance, and consistency as he works on confidence and manners. He is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for ongoing training and positive reinforcement work. Lennie does enjoy the company of other dogs, though he is still figuring out appropriate social cues and can sometimes become unsure or nervous during play. Slow introductions and supervision will be important as he continues to grow! He is also still working on potty training consistency and may have occasional accidents as he continues to adjust to routine. Crate time and alone time are challenging for him right now, as he prefers to be close to his people and may vocalize when separated. At his core, Lennie is a sweet, affectionate, and goofy boy who just wants love, guidance, and someone to help him channel all of his enthusiasm in the right direction. With structure and patience, he has so much potential to shine.
