Lennox
Meet Lennox! This 1.5-year-old, 52lb Shepherd mix is a sweet, sensitive boy with a soft heart and a deep devotion to his people. Once he feels safe, Lennox becomes incredibly affectionate, happily leaning into you for pets, cuddles, and all the ear scratches he can get. He truly bonds closely and loves being near his person whenever possible. Lennox is fully potty trained and enjoys getting out for walks, where he can explore the world at a comfortable pace. He does well with calm, balanced dogs, though he may feel overwhelmed by pushy or overly intense play styles, so thoughtful introductions and a steady environment are important for him. In his foster home, Lennox has shown that he can settle in a crate for periods of time, though he is a very people-oriented, clingy boy who strongly prefers being close to his humans. Much of his past likely involved a high level of constant human interaction, and he is still learning how to feel comfortable with space and independence. He is working on not jumping up for attention, as he is very affectionate and eager for connection. Lennox can be shy with new people and may have nervous moments, but he continues to make progress as he gains confidence. He does best when introductions to new people are done slowly and thoughtfully, ideally in a neutral setting like a calm walk before entering a home environment. Lennox is incredibly loving and wants connection deeply. With patience, structure, and a balanced approach that blends affection with gentle training, he has all the potential to grow into a wonderfully loyal, deeply bonded companion!
