Meet Leo! This handsome 1-year-old, 32lb Poodle mix is a social, affectionate boy with a big personality! Leo came into our care from a backyard breeding and hoarding case, where he and several other dogs spent their days living in outdoor kennels. Despite his rough start, Leo hasn't lost his love for people. In fact, Leo is one of the most social pups from his group! He's always happy to greet new friends with a wagging tail, wiggly body, and plenty of affection. He loves attention and has even been known to give out hugs! He walks nicely on leash, has passed other dogs without issue, and is eager to get out and explore. Leo is still working on his leash manners and may occasionally grab at the leash when he feels pressure, but he settles into his walks quickly. Leo is also heartworm-positive, but his treatment is fully covered by Wags & Walks, and he's expected to make a full recovery!
