Meet Cat! This 2.5-year-old, 49lb Aussie mix is a sweet, affectionate girl who has spent her time being a wonderful mama, and now she’s ready for a home of her own! Cat is friendly with both people and other dogs and has an easygoing, happy personality. When she first arrived at the center, she had a little extra puppy-like energy, bouncing around her kennel, but she settled down fairly quickly once she got comfortable. She did wonderfully for her bath and then happily rolled around on the turf! Once outside, Cat’s playful side really comes out. She loves romping around the yard and exploring, and one of her favorite activities is running to the top of a little hill before rolling and army-crawling her way back down! She’s clearly a girl who knows how to have fun. Now that her puppies are growing up, Cat is ready to enjoy some adventures of her own. Because of her breed mix, she’ll likely thrive best in a home with a fenced-in yard or direct access to the outdoors where she can safely get exercise and enjoy exploring.
