Meet Marbles! This 1-year-old, 37.5lb mixed-breed girl is a sweet, affectionate pup with a goofy personality, plenty of energy, and just enough mischief to keep you laughing! After coming into our care as part of a cruelty case, Marbles has been learning what it means to be a loved family dog, and she’s making wonderful progress. Marbles absolutely adores her people and loves nothing more than staying close and soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give her. She also loves toys, food, car rides, and being part of whatever is going on around her! She may be a little nervous when settling into a new environment, but her confidence continues to grow, and her silly, affectionate personality shines more every day. Marbles is making great progress with potty training and is settling into her crate much more easily. She’s also learning basic cues like sit and continuing to work on boundaries. She has enjoyed playing and relaxing with other dogs, but she has shown some resource guarding around high-value items like bones, so she’ll need thoughtful management, separate access to prized chews, and continued training to help her succeed. Marbles is becoming more confident and comfortable every day, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom with a family of her own!
