Meet Nestle! This handsome 5-year-old, 81lb Lab mix is a big, goofy boy with an equally big heart. Nestle is a sweet, friendly guy who may be large and a little clumsy, but all he really wants is to spend time with his people and soak up some attention! Once Nestle is out in the yard, his affectionate, easygoing side really shines. He loves playing with stuffed toys, sniffing around, and finding a spot beside you to enjoy some pets. He’s also a gentle, quiet guy who settles well in his kennel and is happy to spend time relaxing with his favorite people! On walks, Nestle has plenty of strength behind him! He can pull when something catches his attention, especially other dogs, and he can be difficult to redirect when he’s excited due to his size. He’s been receptive to practicing sit and loose-leash walking when distractions are low, so he’ll benefit from continued training and a confident handler who’s comfortable managing his size and strength. Nestle is also heartworm-positive and currently undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by the 15/10 Foundation. He’s expected to make a full recovery!
