Meet Noodle! This 4-year-old, 43.5lb Shar Pei mix is a loving, affectionate girl with a serious love for cuddling. Noodle is a classic Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be by her people's side. Whether she's curled up next to you on the couch, following you from room to room, or happily supervising whatever you're doing, she's happiest when she's close to the people she loves. Noodle has a calm, easygoing personality with just the right amount of playful energy. Most of the time, she's content relaxing with her family, but every now and then she'll break out into hilarious zoomies, turning into a playful little "torpedo" before settling back in for more snuggles. This smart girl is fully potty trained, crate trained, and has excellent house manners. Noodle is especially impressive with routines and boundaries, confidently waiting at thresholds before exiting her crate or walking through doors. She's currently working on her leash manners, as she can be enthusiastic and pull during walks, and will benefit from an adopter committed to continuing her training. Noodle has done well coexisting with other dogs but prefers slow, thoughtful introductions. Once she's had time to get comfortable, she's happy to peacefully share her space and does great with other pups. Because of her prey drive, she'll need a home without cats. She would also likely do best with older children, as her playful zoomies can sometimes be a little enthusiastic for toddlers. Noodle is heartworm-positive and is currently undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by the 15/10 Foundation. She's expected to make a full recovery!
