Oakley

Oakley is a 2-year-old, 54lb Poodle mix with a gentle, loving soul and the sweetest, most devoted personality. This affectionate girl is happiest when she’s close to her people, she’ll happily follow you from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing! Oakley loves to lounge on the couch, soak up pets and cuddles, and simply be by your side. She has a calm, laid-back demeanor in the home and does wonderfully when someone is around. She also enjoys a nice evening walk before settling in for a cozy night of relaxation, and she loves car rides for tagging along on outings. Oakley is potty trained and overall well-mannered, but she does experience some separation anxiety. She may bark for a short time when first left alone in her crate, but she’s able to settle once she calms down. She can also feel overwhelmed in busy environments and is sensitive to loud noises, and she’s still building confidence around new people and other dogs. Oakley is looking for a patient, committed adopter who will help her continue working through her confidence and crate training with consistency and support. With her loyal, loving nature, she just needs a little patience to blossom into the sweetest companion.
