Peanut is a 5-month-old, 35lb Shepherd mix with a sweet, gentle nature and a whole lot of resilience. This adorable tripod pup is missing his front right leg, but don’t let that fool you, Peanut is learning to navigate the world with impressive determination and is making more progress every single day. Like many puppies, Peanut can be a little submissive when first meeting new people or exploring new environments, but give him a moment and you’ll quickly see his warm, loving personality shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he absolutely lights up around his people and happily soaks up all the attention he can get. Peanut is incredibly smart and eager to learn, and very true to his Shepherd roots, he naturally wants to bond closely with his people and be part of everything you do. He’s currently learning the basics in his foster home and doing a great job! He’s still very much a puppy, so he’ll need a home ready for the time, patience, and guidance that come with raising one. Despite having three legs, Peanut doesn’t let anything slow him down. Expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, Peanut will be an incredibly loyal, loving companion!
