Percy
Meet Percy! Percy is a 6-year-old, 15lb mixed-breed pup with a charming personality and the perfect balance of playful and easygoing. This sweet little guy has a classic terrier-like demeanor: curious, confident, and always ready to explore, but he also knows how to relax and enjoy a cozy snuggle. Percy tends to get short bursts of excited energy, especially when it’s time for play or when he spots new people or dogs on a walk. He’s naturally curious and loves sniffing around to investigate new places and scents. After he’s had a chance to explore, though, he’s just as happy settling down and keeping himself entertained with one of his favorite things: a good chew toy or stick. Percy is both independent and affectionate. He’s perfectly content doing his own thing, but he also enjoys curling up with his people for some quality cuddle time. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and very respectful of household spaces and boundaries. Percy also has great manners: he’s polite when taking treats, knows “sit,” and easily takes his medications when tucked into a pill pocket. Percy does take thyroid medication that he will need for life, so his adopters should be prepared for the responsibility and ongoing cost of maintaining this routine. Luckily, he takes his medication like a champ! On leash, Percy can pull a little out of excitement to greet new friends, but he’s already working on improving his leash skills.
