Pesto came from a cruelty case, but you’d never know it from the way he greets the world: with excitement, curiosity, and a whole lot of tail wags! Pesto can be a little shy at first and may cower with sudden hand movements, but with a bit of patience and gentle reassurance, he warms up and shows his affectionate, playful side. Once he feels safe, he absolutely loves attention, especially ear rubs, and will happily lean in to soak up all the love. This fun-loving boy has plenty of energy and enjoys activities like playing fetch and spending time with his people. He’s also friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion to play and build confidence with. Pesto is still working on his leash skills and can be a bit unsure on walks, but with continued guidance and positive experiences, he’ll gain confidence over time.
