Petey is a chill, easygoing guy who enjoys a balanced lifestyle: he’s medium energy, happy to spend time outside, but just as content lounging around and soaking up affection from his people. Petey has lived with another dog and can be acclimated to most dogs with proper, thoughtful introductions. Once he’s settled, he does well with canine friends. He has also done well with kids, making him a good fit for a variety of homes. Petey would do best in a home without cats or small dogs, and he’s not suited for apartment living; he’ll thrive in a home with space to stretch out and relax! He’s potty trained and overall a great houseguest. Petey is currently working on some separation anxiety in the crate and will need continued support and patience, but he’s already making progress.
