After coming from a shelter in Memphis where she was at high risk with no way out, and proving herself to be a devoted mama to her puppies, Petunia is finally ready for a home of her own. She’s a goofy, curious girl who wants to sniff and explore everything in any room she enters. Petunia is incredibly affectionate and truly believes she’s a lap dog: if there’s a seat, she’ll be right there with you, soaking up attention and happily rolling over for belly rubs. Her foster describes her as an absolute doll, and it’s easy to see why. Petunia loves to play with her toys, especially enjoying a good game of fetch or tug. She’s also wonderfully social with other dogs and enjoys romping around before settling down for cuddle time. She's a medium energy gal, who balances playful bursts with plenty of time for snuggles, which are her favorite. She’s great in her crate, potty trained, and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re cooking, cleaning, or just relaxing, Petunia just wants to be by your side!
