Meet Polly! This 7-year-old, 17lb Pug mix is a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Polly can be quite shy at first and may take a little time to feel comfortable in new environments or with new people, but once she does, her sweet and affectionate nature begins to shine. Polly is a mellow, easygoing girl who loves to snuggle and be close to her trusted humans. She has been described as incredibly loving and enjoys quiet companionship, making her a wonderful match for a calm, patient home. While she may be a bit more reserved around men and young children, she has never shown any aggression, she simply needs time, understanding, and gentle reassurance to build confidence! One of Polly’s favorite things is being around other small dogs. She truly enjoys their company and seems to gain confidence from having canine friends nearby, so a home with another gentle dog could be a great fit for her. Polly is a sweet, tenderhearted girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell.
