Meet Relish! This adorable 11-month-old, 25lb Dachshund mix is a sweet, playful boy who's still learning to navigate the world with confidence. Relish came into our care alongside his dad and brothers, and while new environments can make him a little unsure at first, his friendly personality is already starting to shine! Once Relish feels comfortable, he's happy to solicit attention, play, and spend time with his people and canine friends. He's been doing well settling in alongside other dogs and seems to find a little extra confidence from having canine companions nearby. He recently met his foster's dogs, and everyone has been getting along great! Relish is still figuring out some of the basics, especially when it comes to walking on leash. New sights and sounds can make him hesitant, and he may need some encouragement to get moving, but he's already shown improvement when following the lead of other dogs. He's also been learning to settle in his crate after a little time to wind down. Relish is looking for a patient family ready to help him grow into the confident, happy pup we know he can be, and we can't wait to watch him blossom!
