Meet Rick! This 4-month-old, 18lb mixed breed puppy is a smart, affectionate little guy who's ready to find a family excited to help him continue growing into an incredible adult dog. Rick is incredibly bright and eager to please. He's already learned an impressive list of commands, including sit, shake, nose tap, and crate, and continues picking up new skills quickly. He's making wonderful progress with potty training, consistently letting his people know when he needs to go outside by sitting at the door. Like any young puppy, he's still learning, but he's well on his way! Rick enjoys spending time with his people and loves having a job to do. He happily sleeps through the night in his crate when it's close to his family and will even choose to nap there during the day. Because he's still a young puppy, Rick is working through some separation anxiety and will do best with adopters who are committed to continuing his training, providing structure, and helping him build confidence as he learns that being alone is okay.
